Privacy
The Encyclopedia Center, Inc. (encyclopediacenter.com) is committed to
maintaining your privacy. The personal information you submit to us will never
be shared, leased, sold, or disclosed to third parties except when required
by law. Furthermore, we will not contact you unless there is a need in relation
to your transaction or in response to an inquiry initiated by you.
Security
When you place an order, all of your personal information will be encrypted
via dedicated SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) before it is transmitted over the
Internet. (Note the change from http:// to https:// in the URL as you enter
our security zone.) This means that data cannot be read as it travels through
the internet to our system. Our secure server, certified by GeoTrust, provides
the highest level of security available.
In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must first notify
your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more
than $50.00 of fraudulent charges.
Returns
We strive to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase from
us. If you receive your product and it is damaged or not complete
we swiftly move to address the shortcoming at our expense when it is not caused
by you. If you decide to return the items you purchased, please contact us to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN) via cs@encyclopediacenter.com within three days of the merchandize delivery,
and then ship the products in their original, unopened cartons. Once the merchandise is received back and inspected, we will
refund you your money minus the shipping and handling charges. If the cartons
have been opened and the shrink wrap has been broken, an additional charge
of 15% will be assessed. It's strongly advised that you purchase shipping
insurance at the time of shipping back the products.
Shipping
Once your order is received and processed, we will immediately ship out your
products via UPS ground which could take up to 7 business days. If you
need your shipment expedited, there will be an extra charge.
